How Our Network Works

Who You Talk To

When you reach out through Comeimproving Restoration, your request goes to an independent water damage provider in your area. That provider is a separate local business. They look at your situation, answer your questions, and explain what work may be needed. Comeimproving Restoration does not do the restoration itself.

What Happens on the Call

Expect a short, practical conversation. The provider will likely ask:

  • Where the water came from, and whether it has stopped
  • Which rooms or floors are wet
  • How long it has been there
  • Whether the power is on in the affected area

Have your answers ready, and take a few photos if it is safe. Photos help a provider understand the job, and they can help document damage for a claim.

What to Ask a Provider

This is where you protect yourself. Good questions get clear answers, and clear answers are a good sign.

  • Will you give me a written quote? A solid answer explains what is included and what could change the price.
  • How will you dry the structure? Listen for a plan that covers water extraction, then drying of walls, floors, and framing, with moisture checks along the way.
  • Are you licensed and insured for this work? Rules vary by state. A trustworthy provider answers without fuss.
  • Who will be at my home, and when? Ask for honest timing, not big promises.

Watch for red flags. Be careful if someone demands full payment up front, pushes you to sign on the spot, or will not put anything in writing. Be wary of anyone who says drying is finished without checking moisture levels.

You Are in Control

Talking to a provider does not lock you into anything. Compare more than one answer if you have time. Ask for the plan in simple words. Say no if something feels off. You can also ask about insurance paperwork, since providers can often help document damage, but your policy decides what is covered.

Costs vary a lot by job size, water type, and materials. Typical ranges in the U.S. shift widely, so always get a written quote.
